The Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship, held in Laguna Phuket, 
Thailand features 30 qualifying slots to the 2012 Ford Ironman World Championship. No qualifying to enter the Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship is required, with the event taking place on Sunday, December 4, 2011.

Ironman Australia is now a stand alone event. Entries to the Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie – taking place in Port Macquarie, New South Wales on Sunday, November 6, are still available. Age-group winners for this event will be offered a chance to compete at Ironman Australia next May. Click here to register!

The general entry fee is $695 while Triathlon Australia annual members receive a discounted rate of $675.00 (fee includes GST and Active.com service fee).
A decision on whether the Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie will be held in conjunction with Ironman Australia or on a separate day will be announced at a later date. Entries for the 70.3 event will not open on May 11.
